Yoga Nidra Immersion

A 2.5 hour workshop where you will be introduced to the theory and practice of Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra is the art of Yogic Sleep, it is both a meditation practice where we refine our minds and a practice of deep relaxation where we restore vitality to our physical bodies. Through regular engagement with this profound technique we are able to sink deep and fast into profound states of conscious awareness.
At it's heart Yoga Nidra is a simple and powerful technique for meditation and relaxation, that is suitable for almost anyone. It is also a deeply restorative practice that can greatly assist with managing chronic illnesses and adrenal exhaustion. We warmly invite you to come and experience the magic of Yoga Nidra for yourself.
Participants will be introduced to the technique and will be given further understanding of the scope and possibilities, for those inspired to make a commitment to the practice, the rewards can be incredible. Audio recordings and notes will also be provided to all participants so they might continue to practice at home.
We will contemplate and discuss the technique of Sankalpa (resolve) - used in Yoga Nidra to evolve the practice into a system of life affirmation and profound evolutionary change.
Mark Purser is the founder of the Bamboo Yoga School - and a highly trained and experienced teacher of this profound, life enhancing practice of yoga nidra. He presents in a way to give you a direct personal experience of the practice as well as an insight into science and potential of the technique.
The workshop is perfect for those experienced Yoga Nidra who want some more understanding of the theory and potential, for total newbies who want to try Yoga Nidra and for anyone who wants a few sublime hours to relax.
